Nativity

I realized I talked about a new nativity we got, but never showed it.
It is a representation from India.
I think I was in a Christmas Around the World mood, because of the Christmas Party.
I like it.
It's different.

So, what did I do on my first day of no school?

It was the first day of Christmas Break
I finished my last assignments at 9:30pm on Saturday.
So what did I do my first day of vacation?

I sewed Rylee's Stocking from this old sweater which had grown a hole!
Made these snowmen cookies {tutorial found here}

For our visiting and home teachees, and Jojo's Nursery leader.

Joseph is moving to Sunbeams starting the new year!! I can hardly believe that we are finally going to have a primary aged child! He is growing up sooooo fast!
Thanks Mom and Emilee for the Christmas Cards {You can see them on the door!}

Played with my kiddos!
And we went and saw Wreck-it Ralph for FHE. Cody has been wanting to go the movies for the longest time!!! now that we are out of classes we have more time. I LOVED it, it was such a creative story and so well done. it was great! And Rylee was pretty good! (usually I have to take her out because she is so wiggly)

OH! and I can't forget to mention the WONDERFUL short Paperman before the feature. A very beautiful love story. Visual awesomeness!

Progress on Rylee's Room

Been slowly working on Rylee's Room. This is what it looks like so far....

Ribbon mobile. Ginger loves it. She loves to waver her hand through it, it make her giggle. Just last night she woke up crying and after getting her to finally calm down I let her do this and it made her smile.... very precious!

Rylee's Profile {Cody drew and cut it, it was from one of those pictures with her hair in pigtails}

Salt Lake Temple. I had one that was more fairy tale looking with the Salt Lake Temple, but I liked the look of this one, I felt it went better with everything.
As you can see the pink plaque I've been having trouble pasting it without having bubbles , It's going to be a picture of Queen Easter.
The Blue plaque (not positive) but might be this quote from Pres Uchtdorf from"Your Happily Ever After"
Heavenly Father offer to you the greatest gift of all - eternal life - and the opportunity and infinite blessing of your 'happily ever after'.

It's a LDS fairy tale theme with a 1800's vibe....get it? Well, anyways, I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'll probably do a little bit with embroidery hoops and fabric/paper.

Not that elaborate, more simple, just a few , I already have the paper/fabric I want to use.

Decorations

I wanted to show our Christmas decorations before we leave for home.

We really only have this one flat place to put decorations, so it looks a little crazy.
